Description:

The K121 is Seneca's brand new universal converter/isolator, and is suitable for RTD, thermocouple, Ohm, V and mA conversions. In case of mA/V inputs, start and full scale can be settled with the following limits: ±24mA and ±30V. The device is supplied over the 4-20mA signal output (loop powered) and can only be configured using the free Easy LP software (or using the S117P kit). In some ways the K121 could even be seen as an inexpensive alternative to the Z109REG2.

From the compact, DIN-Rail mount box of the K121 you can achieve almost infinite applications, whilst also reducing your wiring as both the output and the power supply utilise the same circuit. The K121 is used to read different sensor types by a PLC analogue input card with built in power supply.

  • Conversion and transmission of the input read into a normalised signal current in the output for the loop 4-20mA that is connected with a 2-wire connection.
  • Themocouple input J, K, R, S, T, B, E, N (EN 60584).
  • RTD input (PT100 - 500 - 1000, Ni100) with 2, 3 or 4 wire connections.
  • Voltage input ±30V.
  • Voltage input ±150mV.
  • Current input ±24mA.
  • Potentiometer input with resistance between 500Ω and 10 KΩ.
  • Resistance input up to 1760Ω.
  • Reduced response time (Voltage and Current input): 140ms
  • Reduced response time (Other inputs): < 620ms
  • High precision
  • 16-bit measurement conversion
  • 1500 Vac output isolation
  • Compact size 93 x 102.5 x 6.2 mm
