Status Loop Powered Isolators

The SEM1000 isolator is designed to be series connected into a new or existing (4 to 20) mA current loop and provide an isolated (4 to 20) mA signal capable of driving into 500 Ω maximum load. The output is powered from the input loop.

The SEM1010 is designed to provide an isolation barrier between a field mounted (4 to 20) mA transmitter and the process monitoring system. The isolator output is a two wire (4 to 20) mA current sink. The SEM1010 derives it's power from the output loop.

This (4 to 20) mA isolator can be configured to accept most of the common voltage ranges found in both commercial and industrial applications.

The SEM1020 isolator is designed for use when power is available at both sides of the isolation barrier.

The SEM 1200 isolator is a dual output isolator, providing two separate isolated (4 to 20) mA current signals from a primary loop.
