Description:
The Seneca Z109REG-ER is a Universal Isolating Converter and Transmitter with Square Root Extraction, the Z109REG-ER is designed to receive a single channel input signal either in Voltage, Current or from a Thermocouple or a Potentiometer, the input is then isolated and converted to an optionally linearized output signal in a standard Current or Voltage signal, the units also as Square Root Extraction capabilities ideal for "flow" type applications.
The Z109REG-ER is fully configurable using DIP Switches, alternatively configuration and use of the device can be done using the free Seneca Z-SETUP-REG software (see below for more information) and a PC connected to the device using the neat PM001600 cable (tick box above to purchase).
DIN Rail mountable the Z109REG-ER as a detachable "plug in" terminal block reducing wiring errors and field wiring time..

About PC programmability:
Z-SETUP is an easy to use software designed exclusively for Z-Line modules, it allows further configuration of the Z109REG -ER increasing the possible applications for the instrument, connection from the module to a PC requires the use of the Seneca PM001600 cable which converts the units front "Jack connector" to a standard RS232 output (Click here for more information about Z-Setup and the PM001600 cable).
The software requires the use of a Windows operating system and is available in English as a free download.
