Overview
The AOIP OM22 is a benchtop micro-ohmeter used for 4-wire measurement of very low resistance values up to 20 KOhms, with accuracy of 0.03% RDG and 0.1 micro ohm resolution. The OM22 is particularly suited for use on test benches with repetitive measurement tasks.
Reliability and accuracy are improved by low temperature coefficient of 10 ppm/ degrees celsius, automatic removal of EMF parasites before each measurement, metal temperature compensation and compensation of ambient temperature.
The OM22 is programmable, with 6 configurations to be modified and recalled by users upon requests through the 6 grouped tactile keys on the front of the device. Every configuration defines every measurement aspect, including; range, current waveform and value, number of measurements per cycle with temporisation, storage conditions, temperature compensation, measuring unit, metal under test, calculations of coil heating or W/km, alarm settings, maximum measurement voltage, analogue output, trigger conditions, and more.
Configurations can be modified through LOG OM data management software, which is included with the unit as standard. Up to 1,000 samples (including average, minimum and maximum values) can be stored inside the instrument and recalled directly on the display or through the LOG OM software.
The unit is powered from the mains, or from optional rechargable batteries. The battery variant of the OM22 runs on a 12V battery pack with 2 to 8 hour battery life according to use and a 14 hour charging time.
An additional IEEE 488 interface is also available as an additional option. A range of accessories are available for the OM22, including cases, replacement power supplies and LOG OM software, as well as cables and mounting kits for panel and rack installation. All variants of the OM22 come with an RS232 interface as standard.
