The Raytek MP150 is a real-time thermal line scanner for continous and discrete temperature measurements. The MP150 provides accurate temperature images of moving objects via multi-point measurement, collecting infrared radiation at up to 1024 points within a 90º field of view and scanning up to 150 lines per second.

An internal high-speed microprocessor calculates the temperature of the individual measurement points of each line of data. The MP150 thermal line-scanner includes provision for air or water-cooling, three configurable analog outputs, and two-way digital communications. The thermal line-scanner also features on-board Ethernet TCP/IP communication capability and a built-in line laser for rapid alignment.

MP150 Process Imager Systems are available with a choice of temperature and spectral ranges, and with optional analog or digital output modules available.

The MP150 can be used in standalone mode, connected to a single PC or integrated into a comprehensive process control system using DataTemp® DP, an industrial Windows® software package, that provides remote configuration of the imager and real-time monitoring of the process. Utilizing the OPC Server functionality of the DataTemp DP software, the line-scanner becomes an integral part of any OPC compliant Distributed Control Interface (DCI) or Human Machine Interface (HMI) system. In all cases, the MP150 provides real-time monitoring and control capabilities.
