The Seneca VISUAL1 is a touchscreen operator panel with a 4.3" TFT LCD display, featuring IP65 environmental protection, easy customisability using the EasyBuilder software via USB, and RS232/485 communication output with support for both Modbus RTU and TCP-IP.

The screen is a 4-wire resistive touchscreen TFT display, with a screen resolution of 480 x 272px, up 65,535 colours, LED backlighting, and vertical/horizontal support.

A USB 2.0 port (client) at the bottom edge of the panel allows data to be easily transferred. 128MB of flash memory allows projects up to 16MB to be downloaded, as well as logs and sample data up to 48MB in size. In addition to this, an RS232/485 serial port and an RS485-only serial port are built in as standard. The VISUAL1 includes 64 MB of RAM and a 32-bit RISC 400 MHz processor with a built-in real time clock (RTC). Power is provided via a standard 24Vdc power supply.

The screen can be customised using the free Easy Builder 8000 software; a development environment for building operator panels that supports: up to 8 different languages, supports Windows and Unicode fonts, includes text libraries with CSV file support, supports BMP, JPG, and GIF images, allows for 7 password levels, log events and alarms management, online simulation, and ethernet pass through function for PLC internet connected programming.
