The Seneca Z-SUPPLY is a single-phase switching power supply intended for powering selected Seneca Z-PC modules. The unit is DIN rail mounted and provides an output voltage of 24Vdc, from an AC input rated voltage from 110 to 230 Vac or a DC input rated voltage from 110 to 315Vdc. An internal fuse built-in as standard provides protection against over-current and over-voltage.

The unit features a status LED on the front face of the unit to indicate the status of the output voltage and power supply. All connections are made via screw terminals on the upper and lower edge of the front face of the unit, or the IDC10 10-pin connector for use with the Seneca Z-PC-DIN bus units. It is possible to connect more Z-SUPPLY modules in parallel only if the redundant outputs are connected by IDC10 connector, and not by screw terminals.

The black plastic enclosure of the unit provides IP20 rating protection. Furthermore, the input and output voltage are isolated from each other, up to 3Kvac, in order to provide further protection to the unit.
